Whether you're just getting started on TikTok or already have an account, we've put together a list of tools and recommendations to help you have a safe and positive experience.
TikTok will never message, email, or call you to ask for your password. Create a password that's both easy for you to remember and difficult for others to guess. Never share this information with anyone else, even if they ask.
To keep your account extra safe, set up 2-step verification (2SV). This means that each time you log in to your account from a new device, we'll send you a verification code to enter. Never reveal this code to anyone. It's for you and only you!

Depending on your age and region, you may be able to control your privacy settings by selecting who can view or download each post, Duet or Stitch your videos, and comment on your posts.
